I.O.O.F (Independant Order of Oddfellows) - Confidence Lodge #106, is fraternal worldwide organization of men and women dedicated to improve ourselves, our community and the world at large.

Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy
- Committed to preserving headlands, beaches, and wetlands of the Kingsburg Peninsula and neighbouring areas, and to safeguarding traditional access to our shorelines.

Riverport District Board of Trade - is a non-profit organization organized in 1908 in the well-known landmark, the Myrtle Hotel. Since the founding it has served the community to promote forward looking community planning respecting our rich talents and beautiful surrounds.

Riverport Lions Club - Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs in communities around the world. The Riverport chapter was established in 2004, our goal is to provide assistance to all who are in need within our district.

Riverport Community Choir - Performs year round at various festivals and events in and around Riverport. The Choir has over 100 members from the age of 8 to 80 and beyond, and performs a charming mix of folk, traditional and location songs as well as throwing in the occasional skit and comedy sketch.



Riverport & District Community Centre - Originally built as 1905 a four room school. The community centre acts as the centre of many community activities and home to many groups.

Riverport & District Community Centre Lady Auxiliary - The Ladies Auxiliary was established in 1973. The purpose of the Ladies Auxiliary is to provide funding to support the operation and maintenance of the Riverport & District Community Centre.

Riverport & District Elementary School - Established in 1967, the school's vision is to create a school with a warm and cooperative team spirit, where parents feel welcome and students feel confident to develop their talents and reach their potential in a happy, secure and safe environment.

Riverport & District Fire Department - Established in 1946. The original firehouse was build in 1951, extension added in 1976 as the community requirements and nature of emergency care has broadened.

The Old Confidence Lodge - Is a recording studio, music Stage and performance Venue which used to be an IOOF Hall, erected in 1929, and is now being restored to its former glory, with some added functionality. Musicians and artists can be comfortable and enjoy the surroundings here. 

Transit Lunenburg
- Business plan to bring a scheduled, fixed-route bus system serving the District of Lunenburg. Initially it will link the Towns of Bridgewater, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Riverport.
