The 6th Annual Osprey 5K run/walk is taking place on Saturday, May 12,
2012. The event is being led by the Riverport and District Community
Centre. Congratulations to all the participants!
The annual Riverport Osprey 5km run/walk is led by the Riverport Community
Centre to ensure the successful community event continues into the future
in spirit of Riverport and District Elementary School. The first 100
registrants receive a t-shirt.

Race Location: Take Exit 11(Blockhouse Exit). (From Halifax: Turn left off
Exit towards Blockhouse. From Yarmouth turn right off Exit). At four way
stop intersection (Blockhouse) continue straight. At next four way stop
turn right (Lilydale). At next 2 way stop (Centre) continue straight.
Drive approximately 12km to school on right side of Highway (#332).
Description: 5km Run and/or Walk. An out and back course. Paved road. This
is a school start and finish event. There is one gradual hill near the
finish line. There will be a water stop at approximately the 2km mark.
Registration: Registration is at Riverport Elementary School on the day of
the event at 9:00 am.
