Amazing Dinner Theatre At Trinity United - The
Dinner
Theatre presentation of "Harvest Ball" was a great success with
four showings at the Trinity United church hall.
Chapin
Family Concert - Tom Chapin and his family have put on what has become
one of Nova Scotia's favourite programs. Last year's fair was truly a
memorable weekend of fun, featuring a variety of musical entertainment and
special events.
Community Potluck Event - A
wonderful potluck evening at the Riverport Community Center featuring
great meals, discussion and fellowship. A running slideshow featuring the
accomplishments of the community.
Kingsburg Summer Series -
Music, Artists, Artisans, Informal Learning, Fair-Trading - something for
everyone this summer at the Barn in Kingsburg! Everyone Welcome! Presented
by Duckworth Real Estate.
LaHave Folk Festival -
Come out for an amazing day of great food and music galore feature many
artists include Jamie Junger, The Hupmans, Heather Kelday and Darren
Arsenault all at the first capital of New France.
Osprey 5km Run/Walk - The
annual spring time 5km run/walk road race starting at the Riverport
Community Centre in the promotion of active healthy living.
Riverport Rum Runners Sea Festival - During the first weekend in August a
collection of community activities including catching fish, dancing and
have fun based around our seafaring history.
Riverport's 250th Anniversary Celebrations - The celebration
of Riverport's 250th Anniversary in conjunction with Canada Day 2004,
memories, history and smiles were shared.
Riverport District
Board of Trade AGM - The Annual General Meeting with a lobster dinner presented
by the Riverport District Board of Trade. Featuring David and Evelyn Ernst
of Terra Beata Farms.
St. Mark's Lutheran Church
"A New Beginning" - St. Mark's Lutheran Church was one of
three congregations in the Rose Bay Lutheran Parish. With declining
membership over the years, eventually a time came when there were no
longer enough members to continue leading to a new beginning.
United Way - Community Centre Upgrade - The
result of United Way funding has resulted in new tables, chairs and a
projector for the Riverport and District Community Centre.
