The Rose Bay General Store owners and operators are local residents, Anja and Christoph, who worked very hard while growing the business for the last two years. Since receiving the business they have refurbishing the store’s interior with a comfortable new sitting area and an impressive wine and beer display section which is part of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission (NSLC) franchise while making special orders available. 

 With their vision of a traditional village corner store a reality in this vibrant community. There has been installed wooden shelves and nice display areas. Establishment of a small organic farmers’ market, fresh breads, unique foods and papers to available to order with a section of floor space dedicated to where local art and crafts are displayed. 

The store is ideally located in the heart of the Riverport District, being surrounded by the beautiful nature that the area is renown for. This has provided the couple with a unique opportunity to provide the community and customers with a top of the line service. From the stores prime location you are moments away from arguably the top five most beautiful beaches in Canada.

Afterwards things to do include taking a hike, driving to see places of interest such as beautiful and diverse architecture of the area, the fisherman's wharfs and trying to gold pan at the Ovens Natural Park. Once your day is complete you can even submit a trip photo or two in the well known Community Calendar photo challenge, which makes a lovely christmas gift.
